Each year between 1 October and 31 December, grass pollen season can bring more than sneezing and itchy eyes. It can also bring the chance of thunderstorm asthma – which can be severe and potentially life-threatening.

The Director of Cancer Services, Brett Hamilton, has shared an open statement to reassure the community that the transition to a publicly operated model at the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre will ensure continued access to cancer care for the local community, and that services are equitable, accessible, and sustainable for the future. 

The Hume Region Allied Health Education Group hosted its biennial Insights into Influence: The Impact of Allied Health on Healthcare conference at The Cube Wodonga on Friday, 17 October, bringing together more than 130 allied health professionals, educators, and leaders from across Victoria and beyond.
