Every year on International Cancer Nurses Day (Aug 13), the profession pauses to recognise nurses who walk beside patients through some of the hardest days of their lives. This year's theme, "strong, skilled and specialised," could have been written for Jessica Strauss, an oncology nurse at Albury Wodonga Health. 

Patients will benefit from a more streamlined breast cancer surgical pathway at Albury Wodonga Health (AWH), thanks to a $188,575 contribution from the Sunshine Trust.
