On World Mental Health Day October 10th, 2025, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Service celebrated the graduating cohort of our AWH Mental Health Transition to Specialty Practice Program 2024-2025 with Dannielle McLeish - Area Director Mental Health, Wellbeing & AOD and Matthew Grace - Director of Nursing Mental Health and Wellbeing.

This award is dedicated to individuals who demonstrate outstanding preceptorship and mentoring skills, creating enriching learning environments for undergraduate nursing students.

Thursday marked Global Peer Support Day a time to recognise the invaluable contributions of our Lived & Living Experience (LLE) team. Every day, our Consumer Peer Workers and Carer Peer Workers bring compassion, understanding, and hope to the people and families we support.

It’s Infection Prevention & Control Week (19–25 October), and our Infection Prevention & Control team has plenty of fun (and learning!) in store!
