Michael served as Chair of HRICS Governance Committee for two years and was a passionate advocate for cancer services improvement in our region. The Memorial Program offers grants funding each year to cancer services to undertake projects, training and education that will deliver improvements in systems and processes supporting cancer care.

This PhD scholarship is part of the ARC Discovery Project "Creating Safer Sport Communities from Rural to Urban Australia" (Safer Sport Project). The scholarship offers flexibility in the focus of the thesis, with the supervisory team ready to work with the successful candidate to finalise the specific research topic.
