Decluttering program launch: Let’s get ready for the Northeast Building move!
Wednesday, 24 September 2025 / Albury Wodonga Health
We’re excited to announce the launch of our Decluttering Program—a key step in preparing for our upcoming move to the Northeast Building (NEB). This initiative aims to create a more organised, efficient and pleasant workspace for everyone, ensuring we only bring what we truly need to our new environment.
What’s happening?
Over the coming months, representatives from each discipline impacted by the NEB relocation will participate in 5S Continuous Improvement Training. This training will equip our teams with practical strategies to review both shared and personal workspaces, helping us decide what to Keep, Donate, or Discard.
How we’ll support you
To make this process smooth and successful, we’ll provide:
- Clear signage and collection points for items
- Scheduled decluttering sessions to help you get started
- Support from the AWHRP Team to manage logistics and answer questions
Get involved
We’re asking each team to nominate one or two representatives to help lead the decluttering efforts. These representatives will coordinate activities and share updates with their teams. Check your email for an invitation and please send your nominations by Wednesday, October 7.
Start decluttering now!
Get a head start on decluttering. Look around your workspace and sort items into these categories:
KEEP: Essential, regularly used, or valuable items
DONATE: Good-condition items that could benefit others
DISCARD: Broken, outdated, or unnecessary items
Thank you for your support as we take this important step in our transition to the NEB. Together, we can create a fresh, organised start in our new space.
