From 1 July 2025, Victoria’s Local Health Service Networks (LHSNs) are formally established, marking a new chapter in the way healthcare is delivered across the state. These networks are designed to improve how services work together to provide more connected, equitable, and high-quality care for all Victorians.

Albury Wodonga Health is proud to be a key partner in the Hume Local Health Service Network, alongside:

  • Alpine Health
  • Beechworth Health Service
  • Benalla Health
  • Corryong Health
  • Goulburn Valley Health
  • Kyabram District Health Service
  • Mansfield District Hospital
  • NCN Health
  • Northeast Health Wangaratta
  • Tallangatta Health Service
  • Yarrawonga Health

Together, we serve the communities of the Hume region and beyond, including those in southern New South Wales, and bring a shared commitment to improving health outcomes through greater collaboration.

The establishment of the Hume Local Health Service Network enables our health services to better plan, connect and deliver care, ensuring that individuals receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time. This includes smoother transitions between services, greater access to specialist expertise, and improved consistency in the quality and safety of care.

Importantly, every health service within the Network keeps its local identity, trusted relationships, and community roots, while benefiting from a stronger, more united regional system. For Albury Wodonga Health, it strengthens our ability to provide complex, high-quality care closer to home, while enhancing opportunities for our staff and clinicians to learn, grow and share knowledge across the Network.

We are proud to stand alongside our partner services as we work toward a healthier, more connected future for our region.
