Work has started to configure the Nurse Call System in our new $36m Emergency Department. Key features will include: Staff will have handsets to receive patient calls directly, creating a silent ward. A simple press of a button will activate an emergency page when team members are needed to attend a critical patient situation Wireless devices will be worn by staff so they can communicate with security when needed. Progress is on track for the opening of the new ED in early 2024.
