The Albury Wodonga Health Dental Service provides basic emergency, general and denture services.
The Dental Service also hosts a training program for students from La Trobe University, Bendigo.
Where there is insufficient capacity at our dental clinic, people may be referred to a private dentist or prosthetist.
Specialist dental care is provided at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.
Who is eligible to be seen at Albury Wodonga Health Dental Service?
- Concession card holders and their dependants.
- Any child under the age of 12 regardless of a health care card or pensioner concession card.
- Any child aged 13-17 who has, or is a dependant of a health care card or pensioner concession card holder.
- Any adult 18 years and older who holds a health care card or pensioner concession card.
We have 8 priority access groups, they are as follows:
- Eligible child or young person
- Child or youth in residential care
- Youth justice client in custodial care
- Indigenous/Torres Strait Islander
- Asylum seeker
- Refugee
- Mental health client
- Intellectual disability client
- Homeless person
- Eligible pregnant women
The people included in these groups do not have to be on a waitlist to receive general care. If applicable a letter from a caseworker/doctor is required.
