Meeting the Standards - Aged Care Accreditation and Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme
The Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme Standards provide a consistent statement on the level of care consumers can expect from diagnostic imaging practices. The standards aim to protect the public from harm and improve the quality of imaging delivered. Albury Wodonga Health has shown compliance with the Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation scheme standards as set by the Department of Health for both Angiography and ultrasound. The DIAS accreditation is in place for four years and highlights our commitment to delivering high quality, safe and patient centred services.
Aged Care Commonwealth Home Support (CHSP) Program assessment audit (Community Nursing Services – Albury (CNS), District Nursing Services – Wodonga (DNS), Rural Allied Health Team (RAHT) and Mental Health Specialist services) was conducted early March 2025. As with all assessments we are shown other ways in which we can continue to improve to ensure we continue to deliver safe patient care and deliver on the 'best of health'. Following implementation of improvements, a reassessment was conducted with all requirements now being met. Congratulations to all involved.
