After 35 years of loyal service to Wodonga Hospital, Julie has decided its time to spend quality time with her growing family.

Julie started her nursing career as a registered midwife in 1988 @ Wodonga hospital when the midwifery unit was situated where dialysis now is.

One of Julies outstanding characteristics is her empathy and concern for all her patients, families and staff members that came into her care.

After many years as a midwife and caring for mums and bubs, Julie moved into Hospital in the Home where her advanced registered nursing skills saw her eventually undertake the role of Clinical Co-Ordinator for the service.

Julie always had staff safety at front of her mind and she represented her teams on Work Health and Safety committees.

She also was a committed representative of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation known to fly the flag at many a rally to ensure Wodonga nurses voices were always heard.

Julie is well known for her sense of humour and her ability to gather people in a social capacity to enjoy their time away from work. She will be sorely

missed by all colleagues at Wodonga hospital, and we wish her well for a long and happy retirement.
