Eligibility for a winter dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has now been extended,
allowing more people to boost their immunity against COVID-19 this winter.
If you are aged 50 to 64 years, it’s now recommended
that you receive a winter dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. People aged 30 to 49 are
now also eligible.
You can receive the winter dose 3 months after your
third dose.
You can also receive the winter dose 3 months after being
infected with COVID-19 if the infection has occurred since your third dose.
A winter dose of a COVID-19 vaccine is already
recommended for people at greatest risk of severe illness from COVID-19.
Where can I get vaccinated?
We encourage people now eligible for a fourth
COVID-19 dose to book in for the booster from their pharmacist or doctor as
soon as possible.
Winter dose boosters are also available from our
Wodonga Vaccination Hub or our outreach clinics.
