Friday, 23 January 2026 / Albury Wodonga Health
Hume Regional Integrated Cancer Services (HRICS) are excited to announce the second iteration of our Michael Kalimnios Memorial Funded Program (known as MK Grants) for 2026.
Michael served as Chair of HRICS Governance Committee for two years and was a passionate advocate for cancer services improvement in our region. The Memorial Program offers grants funding each year to cancer services to undertake projects, training and education that will deliver improvements in systems and processes supporting cancer care.
The grant projects are intended to be short-term, lasting up to three months, with a completion date for the end of June 2026. The grants funding allocation is available for amounts up to $5,500 (including GST).
This short three-minute video provides a snapshot of the program and examples of previous projects. A more detailed video can be found on our HRICS website.
Please see attached the MK Program Guidelines and Application form for further information and sharing amongst your teams.
