The Nurse Audiometrist provides a service to paediatric clients that assists with the identification of hearing loss.
It liaises with other allied health services eg. Speech pathology, for better health outcomes and provides, support and management to the client through education, referral to audiologists, or to GP’s.
Referral Pathway:
GP , Self-Referral, Speech, Child and family Nurse, Australian Hearing, School Nurse or School Teacher
