Community Outpatient Services Hub

Albury Wodonga Health  is committed to building better healthcare facilities for our community.

This new development will deliver a brand new two-story building and light renovations to the current CRC building on the Wodonga campus precinct. The integration of the two buildings will provide a single entry point for Palliative and Specialist Clinic care services based at this site.

This project has been funded by both the Victorian Department of Health and the Commonwealth.

Project highlights

  • A purposefully designed space with a variety of clinical and meeting room options specific to palliative care and specialist outpatient needs.
  • A focus on building a contemporary and thoughtfully designed space that combines the original CRC building with the new.
  • Tailor designed office floor bringing contemporary shared office spaces via a mixture of open pods, closed offices, multiple meeting rooms, quiet reflection work spaces and investment in building technology.
  • Designed with an ethos of sustainable design via the utilisation of wood, solar harvesting and drought proof green spaces which have been designed in conjunction with a colour pallet that reflects our beautiful and unique region.

Project timeline

Construction works are expected to commence in early 2022 and the project is expected to take 12 - 18 months to complete. This timeline is dependant on many external factors and ongoing updates to this timeline will be communicated as the project progresses.

Plans are in place to minimise interruptions to service delivery during the construction period and will continue to be refined and updated as works progress.
