Ante-natal Classes

Ante-natal classes are aimed at preparing you and your partner and/or support person is for labour, birth and early parenting.

Clients can attend classes once a week on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings for five weeks at the AWH - Wodonga Campus Obstetrics Unit between 7.00pm and 9.15pm.
We also offer one day classes, held on weekdays.

Midwives and a physiotherapist conduct classes with guest speakers on various nights. All first timers are encouraged to attend to prepare them for their birth experience.

There is a small cost to attend classes.

Please mention this to the Midwife at the time of your appointment if you wish to attend and you will be booked into Antenatal Classes.

Special sessions for Aboriginals and young women are available.
