The Hand Clinic is designed to provide assessment of hand/upper limb problems and develop a short-term individualised therapy program.
The clinic aims to:
- improve and/or maintain your hand/upper limb function
- educate you on how to monitor and look after your hand/upper limb problems
It is run by the Community Rehabilitation Centre Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy staff.
If you need individual treatment, eg, scar management, splinting, this can be arranged through the clinic as well!
You can refer yourself to the clinic, however, we will need some medical information from your doctor before you start and will readily follow this up for you.
Please note: if you are wishing to attend post hand surgery, a doctors referral is required.
Please contact the Community Rehabilitation Centre Occupational Therapist on (02) 6051 7400 to book in for an appointment or to just find out more about the Hand Clinic.
