Albury Wodonga Health, Australia's first cross-border public health facility, was created on 1st July 2009 from the amalgamation of Albury Base Hospital and the Wodonga Regional Health Service and is responsible for the delivery of acute health services to the Albury Wodonga community. The organisation has an annual budget of $140m and a workforce of approximately 1,500 employees.
Consequently, the delivery of HR services is changing and we require an experienced individual to assist us with this cross-border role.
Responsibilities will include:
· Provision of advice, guidance and support to Managers and Staff of Albury Wodonga Health in relation to the full range of generalist HR activities;
· In conjunction with the Director of Human Resources, develop and maintain positive working relationships with the relevant industrial associations;
· The ability to interpret, apply and provide advice on multiple Enterprise Agreements/Awards; and
· Ensure that HR policies, procedures and systems are applied consistently and equitably across the health service.

Salary and conditions of employment are as per The Health Service's Union – Health and Allied Services – Administrative Officers Victorian Public Sector Agreement 2009-2011.
