Perinatal Emotional Health Program Clinician

RPN Grade 4 or Equivalent

(Mental Health Clinicians)

Adult Community Mental Health Program

2 Positions = 1.5 EFT

Part time hours combinations to be negotiated

Vacancies exist within the Adult Mental Health Service for suitably qualified and experienced mental health clinicians.  We require the appointed applicants to provide mental health screening and active follow up of perinatal mental health (including infant mental health) concerns identified by Midwives, Vic Maternal and Child Health Nurses, NSW Child and Family Health Nurses or GP's.  Mental Health Assessments, psycho-education and/or care coordination for women identified as at risk of or experiencing perinatal depression as well as other mental health support will also be fundamental in this role.

The successful applicant will hold tertiary qualifications and /or registration, where appropriate, in one of the following disciplines: Nursing (Mental Health), Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Social Work.  Registered Nurses must hold post graduate qualifications in mental health or be working towards same.

Salary and conditions of employment will be consistent with the appropriate award and negotiable according to qualifications and experience.  Access to salary packaging is available.
