Wodonga Hospital – Allied Health programs seek to recruit a qualified Allied Health Assistant to join our current team of 5 AHS's.

 

 The AHA's work within a number of Allied Health teams which provide services to a wide variety of clients. Care may be delivered in hospital, at our Community Rehabilitation Centre, in client homes, residential care facilities and other community settings.

 

The work provides a mix of challenges and opportunities. The AHA works with clients individually and in groups, providing therapy and education, assisting with ADL's, equipment management and assisting with the maintenance and management of therapy resources.

 

The AHA team support each other, and are well supported by allied health clinicians, particularly in the fields of physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology.

 

The successful applicant will have relevant qualifications and experience, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well within a team, ability to support people in the acquisition of new skills and good sound computer skills.
