Consumer Consultant
Part Time
Wodonga Regional Health Service is seeking a suitably experienced person to work as a consumer consultant for the mental health service. A Consumer Consultant provides information to and advocates for persons with a mental illness in receipt of an episode of care. The consumer consultant is to work collaboratively with mental health staff in developing a service responsive to the needs of consumers. This is a unique opportunity for a person with experience in receiving care from a public mental health service. This position is negotiable up to 24 hours per week. Applicants for the Consumer Consultant position require knowledge and experience of Mental Health services and an interest in representing and advocating on behalf of consumers of public mental heath services.
