Oncology Nurse Practitioner Candidate

We are seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner Candidate to join our Oncology Team based at Albury Wodonga Health – Albury Hospital.  The Oncology Service provides ambulatory services and admission to the medical ward on a needs basis to Oncology/Haematology clients from Albury Wodonga and surrounding communities.

 

The Oncology Nurse Practitioner Candidate will be responsible for the effective evidence based advanced nursing clinical practice to Albury Wodonga Health patients with an Oncology or Haematology illness. The role includes working autonomously and collaboratively as a senior member of the Oncology Multidisciplinary Team.. he Oncology Nurse Practitioner Candidate provides clinical leadership through demonstration of clinical and professional standards of practice, utilising expert assessment, diagnostic and evaluation skills and is involved with research and education.

 

The incumbent will have proven experience in the field of Oncology / Haematology nursing and administration of chemotherapy regimes and be prepared to undertake Post Graduate Qualifications of a clinically based master's degree or a completed specific Nurse Practitioner masters.
