Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) Wodonga Hospital (WH) has positions available for Registered Nurses interested in completing their Graduate Diploma in Midwifery.
- 12 month program, two intakes annually
- Provided externally through Charles Sturt University (CSU), Wagga Campus. Commencing 5th February 2012. CSU offer Commonwealth Supported Places.
- Provided externally through La Trobe University, Bendigo Campus. Commencing 6th February 2012. Commonwealth Supported Places available.
- Students are employed part time (four days per week) whilst studying.
- Post Graduate Study Leave may be available to attend mandatory residential school.
- Dedicated Clinical Support Nurse Midwifery Student Facilitator.
- Salary and conditions in accordance with the Nurses (Victorian Public Health Sector) Multiple Business agreement 2007-2011)
Requirements for applicants:
- Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, Registered Nurse Division 1.
- Completion of graduate year is a minimum requirement.
- Cover letter.
- Current CV which includes 3 current acute nursing referees.
- Wodonga Hospital Application for Employment Form available on line from www.awh.org.au/employment
- Current and valid Victorian national Police Check and a Victorian Working With Children Card (Employment).
- Successful applicants are required to pass all elements of the course in order to remain within the program.
- Applicants need to be available for interview in early Oct 2011.
