Due to our current incumbent taking Leave, we require a senior manager to undertake the role of Nurse Unit Manager – Surgical Unit, Albury Hospital.

 

The position will:

• Be responsible for the effective day to day management of the Surgical Unit.
• Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff
• Implement best practice models of work performance
• Monitor and report financial performance
• Ensure staff participation in professional development opportunities
• HR functions including Management of FTE,  rostering/skill mix
• Lead quality improvement activities and continually quality improvement ethos.
• Drive OH&S, Risk Management and EEO principles

The position reports to the Director of Nursing, Albury campus
