· Staff Specialist appointment with Adult Mental Health Service up to full time
· Provide direct clinical services to region
We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team of mental health professionals in community, rehabilitation and inpatient settings. The Consultant Psychiatrist will consult within the hospital, undertake outpatient consultation, take part in the on-call roster, contribute to undergraduate and post-graduate student education and maintain professional development standards. Research and academic development opportunities are available with the Albury-Wodonga campus of the University of NSW Rural Clinical School.
Applicants should have a primary medical qualification registered or registrable with the Medical Practitioners Board of Victoria and the New South Wales Medical Board, Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (or postgraduate clinical qualifications in Psychiatry that meet the College's requirements for practising under Area of Need arrangements) and appropriate specialist experience.
