Admin Support - Governance Officer

Part time/Casual

approx 48 hours per month.

 Albury Wodonga Joint Ethics Committee

We are seeking a person with governance/administration experience to support the Albury Wodonga Joint Ethics committee.  This position has a key role in providing administrative support to the committee organising 6 meetings per year and managing all correspondence in relation to approval and monitoring of approved research projects.

Responsibilities include word processing, data entry, maintenance of databases, preparation of agenda's and minutes and routine correspondence.

The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high level computer skills and demonstrated ability to respond appropriately to the differing needs of applicants and the Committee members.

The position would be of interest to persons from a research or ethics perspective.

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, is essential, as well as an interest in research governance.

Salary and conditions of employment will be according to the Health and Allied Services Award.
