Stroke Network Facilitators for the Victorian Stroke Clinical Network are responsible for providing project management and quality improvement expertise to ensure the smooth and effective establishment, convening and functioning of the clinical network within a Victorian catchment. The network has a key role in working across organisational boundaries to develop effective system responses to enhance stroke service provision.
The Stroke Clinical Network Facilitator for Albury Wodonga Health will be based at the Albury Hospital and will work closely with the Stroke Improvement Team to guide the provision of care, the design of stroke care services and the appropriate workforce to support it.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience in quality improvement or redesign projects methods, and will have excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills. Tertiary qualifications in medicine, nursing or allied health, and demonstrated understanding of evidence based stroke care are essential.
Salary classification, terms and conditions of appointment will be in accordance with the relevant Award/Agreement dependant on the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience.
