Mid-year intake
Are you a generalist Registered Nurse looking for a new challenge or wanting to train and get into a specialty? If Midwifery sparks your curiosity, we may have the programme for you.
We are looking for experienced and competent Division 1 Registered Nurses who may be interested in completing their Post Graduate Diploma in Midwifery.
The 12 month program has two intakes annually and is provided externally through the Charles Sturt University (CSU), Wagga Wagga Campus permitting students to be employed part time (four days per week) whilst studying.
Post Graduate experience as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and both NSW and Victorian Nurses Registration are prerequisites for the course. CSU are offering Commonwealth Supported Places.

Prospective applicants are encouraged and welcome to visit the Health Service and undertake a tour of the Obstetric Unit. You may even wish to come and work for us in other areas of the Hospital and try Us out prior to committing to the programme!
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Nurses (Victorian Public Health Sector) Multiple Business Agreement 2007-2011.
The successful applicants will be required to possess/provide a current and valid Victorian National Police Check and a Victorian Working With Children Card (Employment).
