Wodonga Medical Imaging is a progressive imaging department that is pleased to offer an exciting PDY position in 2011. Our services include xray, mammography, OPG, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, theatre, emergency radiography and 64 slice CT.
Our site has Computerised Radiography (CR) with a fully integrated RIS/PACS system.
Wodonga offers a team environment with an emphasis on CPD and mentorship. As part of your PDY program, you will have the opportunity to train in specialty modalities such as ultrasound and CT.

Applicants are required to provide statements addressing the following criteria:
- Bachelor in Medical Radiation Science ( Diagnostic Radiography ) or equivalent.
- Possession of Provisional Professional Academic and Education Board ( PAEB ) statement of accreditation.
- Possess a licence to use irradiating equipment for medical diagnostic radiography.
- Demonstrated ability to comply with the “Guidelines for Professional Conduct for Radiographers and Radiation Therapists” ( Australian Institute of Radiography ).
- Demonstrated understanding of radiographic techniques through successful completion of the required range of clinical competencies obtained from a number of approved Clinical Centres.
- Demonstrated clinical reasoning skills in the performance of imaging procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work as a team member.
