Full-time Temporary Position

(Maternity Leave Relief)

29 August 2011 to 26 August 2012

 

Applications are invited from appropriately experienced Registered Nurses for this temporary position (maternity leave relief) within the Elective Surgery/Waitlist Unit. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate expert knowledge & skills in pre-operative, peri-operative and post-operative that promotes and optimises patient care and allows for efficient management within Albury Wodonga Health. 

Duties include:

  • Assessment of patient Information arriving at AWH, providing a level of scrutiny that ensures optimal patient care.
  • To liaise with the patient, the hospital and VMO rooms to assist in a successful patient admission.
  • Updating patient information on patient management system (Vital).
  • The accurate documentation of the patients care within Elective Surgery Clinic.
