Manager - Financial Performance and Analysis

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accounting professional to join our dynamic and flexible team of Finance staff.

We are looking to employ a dynamic and enthusiastic Accountant to lead a small team of analysts.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Detailed analysis of the health service's financial and activity performance;
  • Preparation and implementation of the financial year budget including profit and loss and cash flow forecasts;
  • Preparation of reports and information for internal and external stakeholders; and
  • Development and implementation of processes to drive improvements in the analytical capacity and reporting across the organisation

Candidates for this position will need to possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business / Commerce;
  • At least 5 years previous accounting experience;
  • Post graduate accounting qualifications (CA / CPA);
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written);
  • Well developed computing skills; and
  • Previous health industry experience.

Salary and conditions of employment are as per The Hospital Administrative Officers' Award/Agreement and are dependant on qualifications and experience.
