The ADON (after hours) is responsible for the provision of after-hours hospital services, bed management and coordination of staff and requires an enthusiastic self-motivated person prepared to meet the challenges of this key leadership and management role.
The position is ideally suited to someone who is interested in developing career prospects in Health Care Management, who is prepared to work in the evenings and at weekends and who is able to relate to a wide range of health professionals and manage the multiple demands of the role. Practical knowledge of OH&S legislation, HR/IR Management, excellent clinical and management knowledge and experience that will compliment the role and a high level of interpersonal skills are essential criteria.
Persons applying for this position must have a tertiary qualification commensurate with the role and hold Division 1 registration in Victoria.
This is a part-time position and will involve flexible working hours. Additional relief hours are available and shared hours arrangements will be considered.
